Mrs. Heather Shaffer To All Instructors

I am excited to join the teaching team at the Academy at the Creek this year! I delight in inspiring students who find mathematics challenging and stretching students who are naturally drawn to the subject. While the upcoming year will be my first venture into teaching in a homeschool co-op, I have over thirty years of teaching experience spanning Algebra I to AP Calculus and was a grader for the nation AP exam for six years. I will be offering Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II, all using Mr. D’s Math Curriculum. I look forward to coming alongside your son or daughter to build a strong mathematical foundation, and I am eager to partner with you in guiding them through the rigors of advanced mathematics.
