Mrs. Ariel Whiteside To All Instructors

When Ariel was in preschool, she was enrolled in the All American Dance Factory where she excelled all the way through highschool. During her time there, even at the young age of 12, Ariel showed great promise and leadership when she began teaching young girls. After graduating from Gaither Highschool with honors, Ariel went on to enroll in the University of Central Florida. She received a bachelor's degree in Event Management along with a second Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management equipping her with a passion for serving others through organization and positive experiences. From her sophomore year of highschool through her junior year of college Ariel also worked for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for six consecutive seasons as an event and volunteer manager of game operations where her primary role was managing and executing the pregame and halftime shows! After college, she began working for the Wyndham Grand hotel on Clearwater Beach as an Event Coordinator. Within her first year of employment she was promoted to Conference Services Manager and was responsible for overseeing the execution of all hotel event services, from VIP accommodations, to high profile weddings and extended stay conferences with 2000 attendees. After serving for six years in that position, Ariel was offered a promotion to Senior CS Manager but decided to leave her career to focus on raising her two sons. She currently helps her husband run his handyman business while also serving alongside him at Creekside Church. When Ariel's husband became the Worship Pastor in 2017, she began volunteering on the worship tech team where she continues to serve today. Since then Ariel has assumed a lead role in managing and caring for the entire worship and tech volunteer ministry, a department which, with the help of her leadership and direction, has experienced exponential growth from half a dozen to nearly forty volunteers in 2023. In addition to shepherding the Creekside women's ministry alongside the other pastor's wives, Ariel currently assists in the development and management of multiple volunteer ministry teams with a focus on leadership and spiritual development throughout the church as a whole. With her professional experience in management, volunteer development and team organization, Ariel is excited about the opportunity to give back and help equip the next generation of Christian leaders in our community here at the Academy at the Creek.
