Mrs. Kelsey Greene To All Instructors

I am a mother to two wonderful little girls, one of which will attend Academy at the Creek, and I have been married to my loving husband for 6 years. We attend Creekside Church, where we serve alongside the amazing people there in different capacities. My husband and I are both involved in leading the youth students, I serve in our children’s ministry, and my husband is a part of the hospitality team and serves as a Deacon. We have been blessed beyond measure with our Creekside Church family and it is an honor to serve alongside them.

I was born and raised in Tampa! I graduated in 2010 from Gaither High School where I was involved in different extracurriculars such as sports, chorus, community service clubs, and their Best Buddies program. Since then, I have gone on to graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Healthcare with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I have worked with children ranging from 5 years of age to 18 years of age in multiple settings. I have assisted them in everything from basic life skills, social skills and educational skills. It was then that I not only developed a passion for coming alongside a child right where they are and building their confidence in their abilities, but I also developed a love for creating! I created different types of charts, visual aids, communication boards, etc. to help the children thrive! I also spent 2 years teaching English online to children overseas. During this time, I learned many different approaches to teaching and learning our alphabet and beginner reading skills! Although I loved my professional career, in 2020 I made the decision to be a full time stay at home mom and it has been such a blessing. I am passionate about being a part of my children’s growth and development, having the honor to disciple them and watch the Lord pursue their hearts from the very front row! Because of that decision, I am able to be a part of the Academy at The Creek, where I am confident not only my child, but your child(ren) as well, will grow in their abilities, meet lifelong friends, and learn the many magnificent truths about our God! 

Fun facts about me: I love coffee, I prefer the mountains over the beach, I have never left the country!
