Mrs. Jessica Breit To All Instructors

Hello, families. My name is Jessica Breit. Eleven years ago, upon graduating with a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Le Moyne College, I relocated from Syracuse,NY to Tampa to begin my teaching career with Hillsborough County Public Schools. For nine years, I taught fifth grade math and science, while developing curriculum and mentoring teachers in grades 2-5. Through obedience, marriage, and motherhood, God began making his calling on my life more abundantly clear. He began shaping my heart and perspectives to reflect a deeper, more purposeful mission which has led me to home-schooling my own children, tutoring, and teaching at Academy At The Creek.

The goal I have for my students is to cultivate a love for learning, while building their awareness and confidence in their individual God given talents and strengths. I am passionate about providing students with hands-on exploration and problem-solving opportunities that encourage critical thinking, team work, and communication. I enjoy setting academic and personal growth goals with my students to know them more deeply and understand where they are at, while continuing to move them forward to help them grow into who they are called to be. It’s a privilege to be a small piece of the puzzle in their learning journey, and I look forward to partnering with the families at Academy At The Creek!
